the plot is actually quite interesting, it all just wasn't framed properly in my opinion. the artstyle can still work with this kind of storytelling, so that's not really a concern. this just needs better pacing and panelling. some things need to drag on in order for it to convey what it wants to convey properly and effectively. pity this manga didn't follow a better formula with storytelling
