Ch 9 ep 50.
Umm I’m not sure how to feel? I mean at first I was confused with the story line and not understanding how everyone can say this is similar to “Raise wa” bc it def is not giving that. She’s quiet and I’m not even sure what her job is besides do it badly because she’s always getting saved and where was the strong woman aspect besides her job ( that she can’t do well)? Is she some sort of spy… assassin? The ML isn’t too obsessive but it’s ok? Like I’m not getting a vibe yet…
Also the author didn’t give the coworker a name? Why did they just keep calling him “Indian” just cause his skin is brown?!
Not similar at all to be rec from Raise wa Tanin ga Ii

It’s got the perfect setup but I don’t feel attached to thé FL. She seems so bleak and boring…

such a cliffhanger
Here are my thoughts as of chapter 57 (meaning, there will be spoilers):
Firstly, I really hate their whole backstory. I don't understand how Ryang-ha and the real Ryang-ha rescuing Chateau as a child makes him, when they meet again as adults, want her to fall in love with him. Like, why? I can understand him wanting to protect her because of that shared past, but why does he leap straight into romance? I think it would have worked better and been more interesting if they didn't have a previous connection.
Secondly, they keep trying to make Chateau seem like this strong, independent woman, but then they also have her keep having to be rescued...I was expecting this badass bounty hunter, but instead, it seems like the author barely gave her any training. The most she does is occasionally kick someone, it seems, before eventually, someone inevitably gets the drop on her once again. How much of the drama and conflict are they going to have from either Ryang-ha or Chateau (mostly her) getting kidnapped? It got annoying after the second time; I wished they would try to come up with something else.
FUCKINGGGH CLIFFHANGER IM GONNA HANG MYSELF HAAAAAA
