a quick and refreshing read! this is not the typical artstyle i would go for, but it eventually grew on me as i continued reading. the story in itself was really interesting – a middle schooler teaching a grown ass yakuza how to sing. they have a 25-year age gap, and yet the chemistry was chemistry-ing :D of course, i loved how the author didn't insinuate anything romantic between them both before the 3-year time jump, which is amazing. i loved how kyouji-kun decided to distance himself because he felt himself falling for satomi but knew it was wrong due to him being a minor when they first met. and i especially loved how they reunited as satomi became of age and is heading to college. it's a slice-of-life manga with hints of bl undertone, which is something i have always enjoyed :D this was a gem and i'm glad that i overlooked the art style and gave this a shot!
