Honestly i love how garam depicts and "understands" love. Love is an abstract phenomenon and cant be measured in numbers or in words even. Even though this isnt a healthy love/relationship he knows that heejae's type of love is different from his, but love nonetheless.

Not sure about Oto's age tbh, but the gap isn't big as far as I understand. He ran away from his family so he didn't go to university, just straight into working.
