i really enjoyed this book! despite this story following the common bl tropes such as rival co-workers to lovers, family heir, monetary issues, etc, the story did not feel boring or draggy but instead leaves a warm feeling behind. the author did a great job portraying how hayase and toukito actually face the same type of issue – just differently executed. hayase worked hard and keeps silent about his woes because he has been the sole supporter of his family after his mom died and his dad took a backseat, while toukito worked hard silently because that's what his dad drilled into him. they both didn't have anyone else to confide in, and toukito recognised the weariness in hayase. the slowburn comes from both of them considering the other's position, and how they simply wanted the other person to keep looking at them. they somehow became each other's anchor, and i absolutely adored how they communicated in the final chapter. warm, fuzzy, and lovely read with no love triangles – just two people discovering their person :D

apparently there's a second volume too, so i hope someone uploads it soon!

This was so fucking wholesome. I really wish it was longer and would go for the feels some more cos it has potential to be even better but I liked this a lot:))

I LOVE LOVE this mangaka's works so much, because they always draw their characters like theyre so in love with each other. all the blushes, the eyes!!!! especially the eyes. i love how they draw the eyes, it shows at how vulnerable the character is. and i love hayase and tokitou so much, theyre so handsome but fold for each other. and ngl, my stomach was twisting when hayase said he want to stop coming over, and tokitou said nothing left for him. and also, i feel like this manga loves to makes manga with the same vibes, like im just a normal person, would that guy loves me? like that!! i wish this manga would show hayase building his company and get tokitou with him
