What an experience this was! It felt like I was reading a novel rather than a webtoon. This has to be one of the most beautifully written webtoon I've ever read. It's crazy how you can write a story this well. Also one of the rare reads where the ending just makes sense.

What a unique and thrilling story. Art was so cool, story was so gripping and thrilling, characters were so fleshed out and human, I had such a good time reading it. The plot twists were plotting! The family dynamics were dynamicing, like holy cow there was so much to unpack with each chapter (which I definitely would've unpacked more had I not binge-read it in like 12 hours).

I will say the characterizations of all the main characters was done especially well. You get a really well-paced, meaningful buildup of Melt and Budd's backstories, and their introspections throughout the comic were so human and so beautiful. Definitely could tell this was a well-written and intentional piece of work, and I felt like the author wanted to say something about parents and their children, about grief and loneliness, and about love, and I think they did a pretty solid job at it.
