Reread this lol and didn’t even realize I’d already read it until the yearbook pics showed up I was like “wait… this feels familiar???”

Ngl I really thought I’d hate the leads ESPECIALLY when the second ML appeared. That usually signals chaos in the worst way but surprisingly, I ended up appreciating how grounded everything felt.

This is honestly one of the more realistic depictions of romance I’ve seen. I like that the story didn’t just rely on cheating drama to explain why the FL and second ML don’t work, they actually showed deeper incompatibilities, which made it feel more intentional and less cliché.

Also, the chemistry between the main leads really grew on me. It wasn’t perfect or idealized, and that’s what made it hit harder. The story is very self-aware too, it doesn’t brush off how much the ML hurt the FL before, and that accountability added a lot of weight to their relationship.
