I usually start off review by such masterpiece by complaining how could you do this to me, but this is such well written that I couldn'y simply do so. The characters devotion, revolution, and uniqueness is admirable, the writing is fucking adorable. I love how they found each other, almost, in the midst of the chaos. Because maybe that's how life is supposed to be sometimes, I love how Jean is written as someone who takes his stance and how he hold Maximilian so dear and treated him as his anchor. Whileas Maximilian being so modest and so so capably smart that he do a long way of deceiving to achieve the rights of the nation. It's so so so so so good. I loved it. I would read it again, I never say this to angst I read but I will meet you again my Perles!!!
