This manhwa definitely has potential, and the art style is… okay-ish—not bad, but not exactly breathtaking either (￣_￣). The MC eats nightmares because she carries the blood of the Haatz, a family whose abilities are deeply tied to dreams and nightmares. Coincidentally—or maybe not—the Emperor, aka the ML, has been trapped in the same recurring nightmare over and over again.
The MC has already turned back time multiple times because the ML once killed her with his own hands due to her family’s crimes (she’s adopted, by the way). She’s currently on her fourth life, which is supposedly the route that finally leads to her happy ending. On paper, that sounds intense and promising (｀・ω・´).
One detail I found intriguing is her eye—only one of them can turn into a heart shape, while the other can’t. It might be a different trait within the Haatz bloodline, but the story hasn’t really explained it clearly yet, so it’s all just speculation at this point.
Snown—her older stepbrother—is the one who orchestrated and revealed all the crimes. He relies heavily on memories that flood back to him from their past lives, which adds another layer to the already tangled plot.
That said… I honestly can’t fully grasp what’s going on. The story feels complicated and confusing, and I find myself skimming panels just to piece together the main plot (；￣Д￣). A lot of reviews say it’s boring and that the MC’s ability—only eating nightmares—doesn’t feel impactful or useful across many chapters, which I kind of understand.
The manhwa is still ongoing with 110 chapters, so maybe things will improve later. I do like Snown, though—purely because of the art style. He’s hot, and I have a weakness for villains, so of course I ended up taking way too many screenshots of him (¬‿¬).
I won’t give this a rating yet (3 star for balance for now.. charet). Since it’s unfinished, it feels unfair to judge it too harshly or praise it too much when the story still has time to either redeem itself or completely fall apart. For now, it’s a cautious wait-and-see.
