Giving this a solid 5. Rare to see a poly relationship where the tops don't feel like cut-out cardboard that feel the same like the exact same person and fighting for now reason. While I see to contradict because these two always fought,sensei made it make sense. I also appreciate when both tops actually talked about why Enraku was the way he way. I can't phrase it as good as *LadyHekate* has and I won't try to.

But I say this as a student taking psychology, what a parent does to a kid can and really will fuck them up when they grow up, whether either or them actually realises it. I'm not saying it can't be resolved, but it unfortunately happens quite a lot. I'm thankful that regardless of the shi that Enraku did before, shiki somehow stayed by him. I think in a way, he had an inkling that the shi his mom did was what caused it. But thinking how highly Enraku thinks of Shiki "They'd be happier with him than with me", is just sad. It's sad because with where he was before, it was true. This was unintentionally a bit of a mindfuck for me to think about. It breaks my heart. I hope to whoever has been through this, we all may not have a Shiki, but I truly hope you heal.
