It focuses on their relationship and the psychological manifestations of their feelings. Very isolated, emotional, and blinding. And because the main characters are so simple, I have less resistance, questioning, and judgment.
There is no gray areas to muddle my impression. The main character is complex yet contrastingly straightforward. The love interest is vividly stereotypical but layered in conscious experience. So together they give me a familiar dynamic with a hint of mint, like breath of fresh air (like hey! Look at this power bottom's proactiveness! I love it!!).
Besides, their lives are so entwined that their choices affect each other powerfully. And the author molded a compelling world structure to highlight that complementary character development. And I am still trying to make some sense of the details but maybe I should just take it as it is lol.
I do feel like I am exaggerating, maybe that's the high of having just finished reading. But it's a fun read! Especially when compared to hyped abusive BLs with pretty art but disgusting dynamics.

I've been watching hamster videos on YT, and a BL manga resurfaced from the back of my head. The problem is, I forgot the title. Please help me.
So the MC is a mover, and the client was a stuck up high school topnotcher who is now an elite. During the move, he found his former classmate's hamster cage. The former classmate becones defensive which worsened the MCs impression of him. By twisted fate, the two meet at a mutually close convenient store. As a petty revenge by the former classmate, he intentionally asked the MC about his running career. The MC injured himself back in high school and quit running, which the former classmate knew was his soft spot.
Long story short, the mover has an inferiority complex who used his injury as an excuse to quit. The elite has socializing issues, but envied the mover. Yep, totally asking the Manga Title for the sake of the hamster

My head hurts from dehydration (-)^(-) ~~ swollen eyes over here. Im glad the last chapter I read is postive... Mangas like this really helps me balance my one sided emotional reactions to negative human traits lol. the idea that "desire is stained by people around you" is so double edged that it really helps to remember that company and environment matter as much as personality does.
