i love how it marries such a fantastical premise with real moments. the relationship between the two of them is so much fun to watch develop. the gruesome nature of everything doesn't preclude a nuanced exploration of their motives, traumas and pasts. the characters themselves are funny, sympathetic, morally corrupt, lonely, hurt, and human.

might be asada nemui's mangum opus, to me.

If I had to rank the best manga, I’d say this one tops the list. It blends the thriller and zombie genres while still delivering a great romance. The chemistry between the two main characters, the conflicts, and the resolution are all fantastic. And the ending??? It made me cry so hard I lost my appetite for three days

when i clicked on this i thought i was going to be bombarded with freaky sht (i was) but damn this is amazing. 10/10 would recommend but would not reread. i thought i was gonna be disturbed and disgusted but now im all that + hurt TT
