[] The Deepest Confession (Manhwa)(from middle school to college, these two have been unlikely best friends, but ask her one of the friend suddenly marries, they become distant, yet the other still holds onto his unrequited feelings, until he decides to go on a month long vacation, but one day before he gets news that his best friend has divorced, but he doesn’t pay any attention to it, until that friend shows up on his door that same night, drenched and drunk, and kisses him, he pulls him off and puts him to bed, by the next day he believes that his friend doesn’t remember his drunken kiss and informs him that he has to leave for the airport, the friend begs to go with him)(the art is scrumptious, the snusnu is spectacular, story-wise the pacing is pretty good and not at all frustrating, I do wish I was longer but that’s only for my pure amusement because the story wraps up pretty well especially with a quick snapshot of them getting married so it feels fulfilling, the drama was just right and tension was also really good, also the Seme married that girl as a contract and never slept with her, I enjoyed it a lot)

Frustratingly realistic with a naive, cowardly, and selfish ml and a hopeless romantic mc, both willingly engaging sexually under dubious circumstances without communication. For how short of a story this is, it is actually written quite well and truly does make you feel for both characters despite their ‘wrong’ actions. It seems like everything is framed under a tragic yet romantic frame but my impression is definitely much more critical. The ending is sweet as, ultimately, I’m happy for them both getting the love they yearned so much for. It’s unfortunate that the ml stays selfish and inconsiderate (seemingly as a means to express passion) while mc is far too quick to give in and forgive (as his expression of love and craving to be loved more than anything else). The dynamic of taking and giving isn’t equal and it’s a disservice to mc

The art style and smut was good but the plot was a shitty loophole of avoidable misunderstandings that were stretched on for too long for no reason. The really can't understand how dumb can the top be to think the ml is gonna be happy when he gets to know his crush is gonna get married (without even knowing the reason or hearing any words from him), then had the audacity to show himself as a pitied bastard because he had to be seperate from the mc. Then one day he decides to show up at his doorstep, suddenly, and forces himself on him using the excuse of being drunk and says stupid romantic shit while wearing a ring thinking mc will just know the ring is for him and that he likes him. Like wth!?
