MY REVIEW:
Re Read because the 2026 data crash deleted my reviews and thoughts of many reads. Anyways this had the potential to be a great manhua however by chapter 70 it seems the author was asked to wrap it all up in 1 last chapter lol. All that building up all that planning and scheming only amounted to 1 single chapter of rushed unsatisfactory ending. Although I'm happy that MC and the Emperor are happy I'm disappointed that we didn't get far with the 2nd couple. We're not sure if they finally talked it out and if they'll live happily after. Still a pretty ok read. Now moving on to a different story.

SUMMARY:
Forced into a surrogate marriage, Xie Yanhuan's true identity is exposed on the night of the wedding. Just when he thinks he is out of luck, the Ming emperor, who has never fancied women, seems to have gotten obsessed with him.
