Loved the art, in the beginning all characters were great, plot was also interesting, unfortunately though things changed throughout and wasn't executed to it's full potential. Typical type of story of somehow time gets turned back upon being killed and wanting to get revenge. Maribelle got poisoned by her cousin Arinsel after hearing her uncle was going to commit treason and kill the emperor.
She comes back a year prior, and changes drastically by finally acknowledging how cruel the cousin she loved dearly truly is and wants to kill them all, though not all her memories are back. She meets the emperor as her plan to use him by offering info in exchange for her revenge. But as time goes on we slowly learn about the past lives, unrequited love, betrayal that wasn't, and all the plans that was getting everyone killed. It deaths of the uncle, cousin, the former crown prince, were unsatisfying. And I would of had liked Ashil and Rodane to of had told their plans to the Emperor and Maribelle and given them a redemption to live on with everyone. Maribelle's character change and she really didn't do much on having plans to exact her revenge because everyone else did it for her, without her knowing and she was still thinking she was contributing. Idk the art was really good but the point of the story changed and was rushed at the end. It just really upset me that Ashil and Rodaene died.
In all honesty quiet a bland story, it felt anticlimactic until the end. The art too gave off a feeling of melancholy as though in a fever dream, and the entire story seemed to have been a prologue of the actual story.
But the art was worth the read,
this was so disappointing i really liked the FL when it started bc she’s so clever only for her do essentially do nothing. it was such a shame and honestly not worth the read

This was ass. Nothing about the characters reactions made ANY SENSE. You die and wake up a year in the past and now all of a sudden you’re a completely different person? YOURE THE EMPEROR AND YOU PET ANY WOMAN WALTZ UP AND KISS YOU and this was the FIRST CHAPTER. Ridiculous. I felt absolutely no connection to any of these characters. Very poorly written.
Read this before lists disappeared. I think I liked it, can't remember
(On-hold: stopped at Chapter 12) This actually seems like a really great story, but I just find the art so weird. Not their faces, but the way their heads connect to their bodies. Is it just me? Nevertheless, I might get back to this if I have time.
