am i the only who noticed the timelines of "the tragedy" keeps changing?

That snake-guy is so darn annoying i never bothered reading chapters with him on it and his yaps. I dont get the grandfather trying to "weaken" the south country by using "traitors" cos like why is he so obsessed with doing that then decided to stop because hus grand daughter got married to its king in the end.
