i used to dislike kon as the ml but he surprisingly avoided the miscommunication trope and never became gloomy or annoyingly indifferent. ui also annoyed me at first cuz it felt like she was always throwing herself at him (not literally) with no self respect even if her backstory’s pretty sad. but she also proved me wrong and managed to be honest with her feelings and didn’t back down despite all the obstacles and kon’s initial resistance to “love”
