This is actually just sad bullshit. The MC clearly has Stockholm syndrome and PTSD from being raped multiple times from ML to the point there is no way I can read past chap 44. I know that MC and ML get together, the ML "redemption" arch is just him feeling sad, which doesn't justify anything. ML literally said in a chapter "how come no one else feel remorse except for me about what I did and say?", dude expects other people to forgive just because he he says sorry, and MC just allows that.
ML is not a good person what so ever, everyone in the industry and in his personal life knows it, with his only friend being MC because he makes excuses for his ass. ML knows that MC loves him and ACTIVELY take advantages of him for 10+ years and then some, he even tells the MC right to his fucking face that he is taking advantage of him and doesn't give a fuck about him. MC should've been with second lead, someone who actually cares and respects him, who doesnt treat him like a toy or dog.
