This story explores multiple LGBTQ+ issues
The MC is trying to find himself and understand who he is. He stumbles on a cafe with people who are similar to him
This manga was raw. It was realistic and educational by showing what struggles people go through and the discrimination they can face.
Warning: This story has heavy themes including abuse and r*pe (It is more censored but it does show the aftermath)
A man with a terminal illness, his lover who neglects and cheats on him, and his doctor who develops feelings for him
I have read this story multiple times and sobbed. I hate how badly the MC was treated by his lover when all he did was be kind to him. I hated how his lover tries to victimize himself and was so oblivious when everything was right in front of him
Warning: A LOT of heavy themes are covered including violence, s*xual assault, r*pe, abuse of power, pedophilia, murder
This has an anime which was adapted to have a more modern setting
A young gang leader and photographer try to solve the mystery surrounding 'Banana Fish'
I watched the anime and read the epilogue and I think about this story constantly. There was so much suffering for so many characters. I wish these boys had a better life and those who hurt them suffered more
The title pretty much sums this one up
The storyline jumps between the past and present of this couple. Including all of the happiness and hardships they have been through
The couple themselves are super sweet and wholesome but they have faced a lot of hardship in their lives. The author shows the horrors of war (not explicitly) and how it effects people.
During a war two children meet each other, they decide to stick together and begin a journey for their survival.
The plot shows the tragedies of war which is especially heart wrenching because the characters we follow are children.
Out of all three the third story was definitely the saddest for me
