Lonely Housewife Corner

This is a tale of two classes. He's a doctor, she's a vet, they both work in a sleepy English seaside village and it is there they fall for one another, as a man and a woman. He tells her his story of being a refugee and beginning life anew in a foreign land, she holds her secret close, until it's revealed she's royalty. While she still only wants what her heart tells her is true, he believes he's does a far far better thing by sending her away. It's okay.

Just a straight up, two single parents working closely together that end up falling in wuv. She has some hang ups about their difference in tax bracket, he has some hang ups about their age gap; his son is nearly teenage and her daughter is still an infant, and though there's some tension between them at first, she's quick to call out his lack of stance and he's quick to admit she's got a point. It's not bad.

Pretty par for the course; a strong woman though she may appear to be, she falls for an asshole who stops at nothing to get what he wants and damn the process. Aw, he got hurt in the past, and she feels for him, poor thing, but she will call him out on his shit rather than hug him close whisper about wuv healing all wounds, though she gives that a try, too. It's all right, I guess.

Twofer: 1) Her image is captured standing close to a highfalutin noble and his family gets the wrong idea, so they send someone to prove her unworthiness of the guy in the photograph. She falls for the decoy, get hurts, gets angry and makes him suffer a bit. 2) She's a programmer being blackmailed, he's a prince in love, but when he's told she's a spy, he wants to retribution. She gets hurt until he admits he's an ass and hunts her down.

It's okay. Everyone in this poor girl's life treats her as less than because her sister is SO petty-uh-pretty, and only pretty deserves love and worship. If her mother truly cared, she'd have tied her husband to the bed and beat him a frying pan until he admitted he's an asshole, but, oh well. The man in this is awkward, so he uses the shallow antics of the pretty one as a leash on the plain one. Hmm, there are better stories, albeit not many, but there are plenty of worse ones.

Um, just what part of her is fat? She's six feet tall and a healthy weight for her height. So fucking her isn't akin to bedding a porcupine, what's wrong with that? This is a sad portrayal of the human race that only a handful of people were willing to spend time with this lovely woman just because of her size. *Sigh* Truthfully, this is a relatable, sweet story about a worn down woman and a good man. Though he should have beaten his 'friend' into a bloody pool of goo for my pleasure.

So, hmm... She's feisty, though, initially her rage made no sense. He's arrogant due to his station, but cold due to grief the death of his first wife, so his personality is ... understandable, but still rude. She falls for him anyway, but being an ass, he is determined to spend his life wallowing, so he insults her and jumps to conclusions. It's better than some, and at least there's some male apology and groveling.

She's punishing herself for a 'prank' (she loved him) pulled her freshman year of college, so she was eighteen year old brat. Her friends/roommates/co-conspirators were only a year older, so nineteen year old brats. Kids do stupid things, it's their lot in life. Knowledge does not equal wisdom. Now she's being harassed by someone who seems to know her past, so she contacts the man she once hurt, and they rekindle their wuv from there, as it never fully went out, just smouldered.
