DJs! / bakudeku, tododeku

a solid 4/5! I like how selfless and kind deku is and how unapologetic and forthcoming kacchan is. deku obviously had a giant crush on kacchan, and to be able to still want the best for him? to manifest a happy ending without him in it? absolute gem of a friend. I'm also glad we got such a no-nonsense kacchan instead of the usual tight-lipped, emotionally constipated kacchan. such an enjoyable read!!

4/5! I love this work because of its pure reluctance and pining. there is a lifetime of hurt and longing here, and deku doesn't want to make things harder for himself, but kacchan absolutely has no qualms when it comes to the issues--he just wants deku. but in the end, deku has to accept it. they're a pair, with issues, but a definite pair. a really good read overall!!

3/5! I do like BB ume-san's other works more but that does not stop her from delivering again. This really showcased how katsuki's personality. of course he would not accept something he won almost half-assed, and just like deku, we too do not completely know what his true feelings are. He truly is a secretive, complicated character that we grow to love.

5/5! I am floored! This has to be one of the best DJs I have ever read. The emotions were so raw and magnificent and every panel, every scene was drawn perfectly to depict these feelings; not one panel was a waste of space or a FILLER! It's all about growth and the realistic fantasy shouto was thrown in, and how love, confidence and hope can overcome anything in the entire world. Amazing read!!

3.5/5! listen, I'm not for this sorta shota (?) content, and even though I felt weird as read through most of the material, this work was an absolute page turner. Yes, we could have done without the problematic content, but the art style, for me in particular, was a huge redeeming quality. I could look at this Todoroki for hours and not get bored. Magnificent art skill, the pace was not bad, and overall it was a good read.

4.5/5! this had no right to be this sad. this work honestly made my chest hurt as I was reading this, especially at that scene where kacchan reads deku's final message to him--it just broke my heart. the tiny little details in this manga made me appreciate it even more, and the last scene HIT me like a ton of bricks. Kudos to author for being able to portray such raw emotions without them feeling over the top.
