UGH ONCE AGAIN I AM NOT ONE FOR SPORTS LIKE MANGA BUT THIS SHIT HIT DIFFERENT. The art is so beautiful and the characters and their stories and determination are all so fascinating. Similarly to koto oto tomare they feel very much like people. Like I know them in real life, which makes the story hit so much harder. I love what each poem means to them and how the story beautifully unfolds. 10/10 fucking sobbed Half the time.
I love these dumbasses. First I would like to say the comedy and pacing in this manga is brilliant. Some people may hate how it's a "slow burn" but honestly I think that just adds to its absurdity. It's amazing and every character is so lovable it makes me laugh and cry. It's the perfect balance of not taking itself seriously, yet just enough to cover deeper topics in a more digestible way. I love it so much.
Another one that I didn't expect to like as much as I do. This story does a 360 on you REAL QUICK so stick with it pls it may seem stupid but just give it time. I love it so much the art style is GODLY and the story is one of love and pain. It's beautiful. I love Hanako he really makes this manga for me. He's one of those characters that you can't help but love b/c he draws you in as you slowly learn his true nature. It's an amazing read. ALSO MITSUBA AND KOU IN LOVE ARG
*plays Sofia by Clairio* yup that's the whole manga pretty much. You have an ace-spect character yuu who catches the attention of her tragically gay, yet closeted, student president. This is actually... accurate representation??? I loved it so much. This is another story that romance aside is still amazing. It focuses more on the idea of who we really are vs what we wish to project which... hit home for me LMAO. It's great pls read even if you are not gay it's a fun read.
I'm not even going to try to lie... this is a 10/10 for extremely personal reasons for me. Im so fucking biased it's not even funny. It's a love story of trying to forgive others and yourself. It shows what it means to grieve and how music can act as an outlet. It's beautiful and I love it. Each character is very human and it shows what it is like to be in a toxic situation, yet not knowing how to escape it. I just can't help but empathize with mafuyu that it was an immediate 10/10 for me.
i wrote an entire 10 page paper for my disability in culture class that's how good it is
