Kaname-kun!! He is the second ml & he's unintentionally mean while just trying to be honest. He doesn't understand people's feelings or making friends feeling as if there's a "puzzle piece missing" in him. He is so sweet but can't make friends due to this so just spends time online. When he gets a job he practices his "smile" and emotions and oh man... I related to him so much T_T
Both out fl Ichika and our ml Yuuya ARE DEFINETLY ON THE SPECTRUM. this whole manga was one big call out to me. They both don't know how to communicate or read other people to the point where they start working on copying other people's mannerisms to keep up. She keeps a journal about all of her peers to easily talk with them (which i did in school •_•) and is so sweet to them. Idk the whole story really touched me :)
Shibuya man.... this dude is so autistic i love him so much. Just his small facial expressions and the way he cares so much for people while still looking distant. The way he fixates on sensei and has trouble understanding his emotions for her is A) so cute and B) neurodivergent behavior. He cries easily and is often lost in conversations seeing as his "head is in the clouds," but still cares abt the people around him!
Autism... both of them. IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN IT but both the main characters in this give me that vibe. The way the ml is able to be popular but yet really blunt and how she is emotional but like to herself GOD IDK HOW TO SAY THIS but this manga is good and they're fs on the spectrum idk
uzuki... I don't know enough about him yet but I have this gut feeling in the way he deal with his shitty family life and detaches from his emotions clinging to the only thing that has made him feel something. Idk he just gives me autism vibes.
Torhu Honda! She learned all of her mannerisms from copying those around her and her dad as she felt she couldn’t communicate well with others!! She also stims a lot by hitting her head & flapping her arms when she gets emotional!
Mob!! Honestly, I think this whole manga is an allegory for being neurodivergent with his psychic powers. But He has difficulty expressing his emotions and is often blunt while still being very empathetic. He experiences “explosions” when he reaches 100% of his power which can be interpreted as an autistic meltdown.
Haru and Shizuku!! Shizuku hyperfixates on her school work, not being able to spend time with Haru bc of it. She also loves routines and has difficulty showing emotion. Haru stims so much at all his emotions and struggles in understanding emotions despite being extremely empathetic!
coco, agott, richeh, and tetia are all autistic. Coco and tetia often stim and info dump about their special interests in magic. Agott has difficulty explains her emotions and just becomes mean and often lashes out and has meltdowns, thus making it difficult for her to form friendships. Richeh struggles to conform to the “classic magic” standards and never performs tests understanding magic in her own way. She also hides in her magic cave when she becomes overstimulated!
Crona!! He has difficulty comprehending social cues and how to treat people thus shutting them out of his imaginary “circle.” He often is emotional and likes to sit in a ball and rock back in forth that can be seen as a stim!!
