After the dramatic revelations and realizations of Kodomo wa Tomaranai, schoolaged co-habitating "stepbrothers" Yuuta and Mayumi get to relax into acting their age—except they have grown up desires and aspirations which conflict with their maturity and ability to handle conflicts. There are trust issues, matters of self-responsibility, even little things like spending money. There is a very good reason the story is called Children's Time, even if it is about those children g
Shouu's unflinching honesty about his relationship with Yuuta causes his adopted son to come face-to-face with the traumas of his past and how he was formed by them. Unable to cope, he runs back to the neighbourhood of his youth, leaving everyone behind ... even Mayumi?
A disagreement begins between the explosive eldest, Taiga and Akinobu, the quiet and studious middle son, over an offer of university study overseas. Taiga is gripped by a past of deprivation and want, and it colours all his efforts and sacrifices when it comes to his family, but is this what is even troubling Akinobu, who hasn't been able to sleep? And how much of Taiga's frustration is also blue-balls syndrome, since his relationship with Shuu still hasn't been consumated (serio
The final installment in the extensive Mainichi Seiten series about the introspective and care-ridden, Akinobu, the studious middle son of the Obinata clan, and ex-gangster family friend, Ryuu, whose turbulent past haunts him and who can't stand seeing him cry alone.
The sweet and fulfilling story of Hideo and Tomohisa, two people who, having been betrayed by previous lovers, find comfort and kindness in each other. Fluffy without being cloying.
Hideo and Tomohisa, the two sweet characters we first met in Kimi to Parade, now share a sweet life together as lovers when their busy schedules allow them to meet up, but Chapter One ends with The Dire Foreshadowing of Disaster.
Katsura Komachi's amazing story of the romance between Nagato, a tough transfer student who ends up leading a gang of delinquents at the rough-and-ready high school he now attends, and Kaga Ai, a yakuza henchman whose loyalty to the waka, Yamato, is unshakeable after Yamato saves him from white slavery. The story is slow-paced, surprisingly authentic and sweet given the volatile subject matter and how gangsters tend to be tarted up into Cupcake Yakuza when yaoi gets through with them.
Prequel to Rouge. The electrifying story of how Yamato, a waka, nurtures fealty from his fellow yakuza, then saves the junior student, Kaga Ai, from sexual exploitation at the hands of a gang of senior toughs. This explosive story treats sexual assault fairly realistically—no subliminal codification for ravishment fantasies here. But the cruelty is redeemed by heroism. Another great story by Katsuro Komachi. READ THIS!
Youka Nitta's sweeping soap opera about Katou and Iwake, two AV actors who risk everything to be true to themselves and each other. There are some niggles: the boys get a bit overwrought at times, the stories sometimes feel truncated, not fussed about the luxury lures and the artwork can be a bit clunky, but there are no arguments with the core themes of loyalty, integrity, commitment and hot-hot-hot sex. A yaoi classic.
