A very cutesy manga about best friends and jealousy. And a little kiss >3< <3
A lovely manga about misunderstands and heartbreaks with a *spoiler alert* happy ending.
Boys are also allowed to protect the little fragile hearts of their OTPs. </3
This is one of those old times manga with a VERY traditional shoujo art. Putting it on this list kind of adds a spoiler to things, but... well... it's adorable and feels totally like a regular shoujo fairytale. I love Sakuya <3 Reminds me of my fav Haruka Ten'ou.
I'm not very fond of fluffy silly manga (who am I kidding? º-º), but this one is quite adorable. Yon-koma comedy with girls swapping bodies by kissing. Not yuri in itself, but good for a couple giggles.
So, NOT YURI. Actually just a pair of friends trying to be cute being 6 foot tall. But it's very fun, and I was really hoping this was yuri, cuz they're both just adorable :3
MUST READ haha :D This manga has a lovely message, although I must admit it still keeps the male/female dynamics. It's Eiki Eiki, so + for art and pace, which is well known if you read her other manga. Some nudity, but nothing absurd. I Adored it <3
So, a classic of the genre, despite not being yuri in the broader sense. It's a wonderful shoujo manga albeit a bit old school. Utena is very charming because she's such a strong female. A gem :3
Another dialogue heavy manga, and boy, do I mean 'heavy'. It's very dense in explanations, but you find yourself more attracted towards the feelings of the characters, not the science babbling. I loved it tho. Characters are great and cute. How can a robot fall in love? Don't care. Care how a love-struck robot and a love struck girl can find happiness together! :B

Thank you for the great recommendations (▰˘◡˘▰)
thank you!! I’m just getting started in the yuri realm so this list’s gonna be helpful. ( ◠‿◠ ) also good on you for getting over your homophobia lmao
When I wrote that in 2014 I had barely any idea of the implications, which is pretty sad. I'm actually embarrased reading it now LMAO 'Cause I kept adding to the list, but I never actually came back here. Since you drew my attention to it, I'm wondering if I should change that suck-ass description or keep it as a reminder that I may have started off on the wrong foot, but as all human I'm able to think critically and change the way I see things. Thank you for looking into the list! (●'◡'●)ノ
definitely keep it as a reminder! ashamed to say i’ve also felt the same. not exactly repulsed but i never gave it a chance bc it wasn’t boys love. but now i read it more than bl these days :’)
Thank you for some of the titles here ^u^ I was searching non-scholar yuri, so you helped me :P
Also, love is love, darling, no matter what the gender is :B
You're welcome, dear (▰˘◡˘▰) I noticed how hard it is to find yuri which is not about school life or way too into ecchi. Also, 100% agreed :3 Enjoy the list!
These a BIG ass list of yuri i could reccomend to ya but ik gona keep it short (easy to get into) hana to hina, shoujo sect, akuma no riddle, pulse, yuru yuri, yuri yuri, (they are diffrent), Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, Hoshikawa Ginza(this has alot of names for some reason) , Yagate-kun ni Naru, yuzumori, Shitsurakuen, Gokujou Drops,Heart no Okurimono, and for advanced readers destiny of the shrine maidens, octave happy sugar life, and why not a random anime Flip Flappers. Ya i lied about it being short i geuss but i removed quite alot. Sorry if a few of em are on your list its a copy paste from a personal list of my reccomendations.(not on this site txt doc)pce (=・ω・=)
