when people say that 'steel ball run' is one of the greatest manga ever written, like, EVER - that's legitimately no exaggeration whatsoever. this is hirohiko araki at his best and it really highlights just how fucking talented this man is at his craft. the character arcs of gyro and johnny are complete and utter masterpieces, and they will forever be encapsulated as some of the best characters ever written in fiction.
