'painter of the night' started off promising, but slowly it descended into me purely seeing red and getting so pissed at seungho i could hardly breathe. yes, obviously you should consider mental illness and trauma, but c'mon, i'm not excusing his shitty human being behaviour. eat shit, asshole! fall off your horse!

guys, i’m gonna be real: this manga fucking sucks. this bitch is a literal child and she’s out here hooking up with her brother’s best friend or whatever who watched this chick g r o w u p. he’s well into his twenties when they hook up - and she’s SIXTEEN. i’m sorry. this is gross. i don’t care if she’s “mature for her age” or whatever bullshit. his brain is almost fully developed and she’s a child. guys, stop.
ok, to be fair, i never finished this manhwa because of how completely fucking terrible it was. both of the leads were so annoying. i remember the main character being unfathomably irritating and selfish, and the alpha or whatever being kind of a toxic asshole, but still a victim to the main character’s bullshit at the same time. they didn’t deserve each other, but yet they both did because of how much they sucked. so, yeah, didn’t like this manhwa lol.
ok so i kind of dropped this manhua because of how irritating the love interest was. like, he’s so annoying that he’s kind of irredeemable to me at this point and i genuinely struggled to continue despite how much i wanted to. i like the concept, and i really like the mc, but man, my boy deserves better.
