We have supernatural intrigue, great emotional beats, fun dynamics, a side couple that complements instead of feeling like it takes time away from the main couple, even some political drama and moving moments all within 19 chapters! This is what you call EFFICIENT story writing <3
I'm actually about to go and reread this manhwa lol, but I generally know what it was about and why I loved it, and it was because what a premise! What character development! What smut! I usually am not a fan of some of the things this story had, but it basically converted me to the short-haired uke and the streamer x viewer dynamic, the art style, and it'll convert you too. The art is classic yaoi art, but that doesn't change the fact that this treats you like an adult and rewards you with a comforting couple and found-family stuff to appease addicts like me. You'll enjoy it more than you think, I promise!! >:D
This manga is for everyone, but especially those who like both men and women >:D On the surface, it's just about smut between two shippable YA besties who are in denial about their feelings, and it is, but it's also sweeter than that, with some random supernatural spice that caused the gender bend in the first place. I just reread this manhwa and holy shit is it fucking P.E.A.K. A down-on-his-luck painter who looks younger than his age bc of malnutrition meets a polite young rich asshole who has a noble cause??? The political drama, the tantalising romance, the fascinating cast, the discussion of art and the art industry, the idea of being independent and letting people in. The focus on CHOICE and how to be happy?! This story is a 10/10 and I don't take criticism
My favourite power fantasy ever, if not favourite manhwa ever. 10/10 characters, 10/10 plot, 10/10 art/writing, I mean I couldn't ask for more
An ongoing manga about a tsundere yakuza and a nonchalant cop. A classic in my books, by one of, if not my fave, yaoi mangaka ever. It has so much drama, romance and fun shenanigans that you'll love. It also comes with a drama CD and like, LISTEN TO THAT as you read. You'll ship them quickly, I promise
