Shima (Seme) (Brown hair) x Ryuunosuke (Uke) (Black hair)
My first yaoi that made the unexpected uke/manly uke my favourite tag for yaoi. I remember re-reading this because I really loved how a strong seme-looking character could become the bottom and there should be more manga/manhwa like that. While Under the Green Light made me love power bottoms, Nirameba Koi made me look for manga/manhwas like Under the Green Light so it is UTGL's predecessor.
Spider (Seme) x Monk (Uke)
I really liked how the uke looks (I like ukes with very short hair) . He kind of looks like Daichi from Haikyuu. I also liked how he didn't seem interested in the Spider (seme) at all but grew to love him. The story about the uke's past is also really interesting and at the end we didn't really find out what exactly he was but it was just hinted at that he is a powerful being or at least one of the stronger yokai.
Tengoku Manabu (Seme) (Younger) x Aoki (Uke) (Older)
I like the psychological aspect of this manga with Tengoku kind of manipulating Aoki. I also really liked seeing Aoki's childhood and how his mother played a role in how he acts now. I'm glad they managed to work things out later and understand why one person acts like this and how they reassure one another.
Yohan (Seme) (Brown hair) x Moogyeong (Uke) (Black hair)
My first shounen ai that made me liked the genre rather than always reading yaoi.
I loved the relationship between these 2 and how it showed Yohan slowly falling in love with Moogyeong. It was not rushed and well paced. I loved how the misunderstanding at the end was so short because Yuri was like "I'm tired of this shit" and solved their problem for them. The only complaint I have is Moogyeong's long hair at the end.
Loved the first couple (Kyubin x Seungtaek), did not care for the second couple (Suhyeok x MC)
Honestly, I did not like the "main" character at all. He was just annoying and making problems for himself while blaming everyone else. The only thing that made me read through this manga and love it was the 1st couple because I really loved Seungtaek (uke) because he kept trying to help out the MC eventhough the MC kept blaming him for all his problems. Also Inbeom was a good boi.
3rd couple (Ch. 5 - 7)
It's so cute! I loved how the uke is taller than the seme and that he has short hair. I really like how the uke basically subverted the seme's expectation of him being shy and innocent but instead the uke is a tease and likes challenging the seme. I also like how the seme was worried about what the uke thinks and how he might not actually like this relationship because the uke used to be straight but the uke was just like "I like you so what's the prob
Switch couple (Very wholesome)
Knowing me I like Eiji (Black hair) to be the bottom but I don't care either way because these 2 old men love each other so much. It took them like 20 years of pining to finally end up together. It's interesting to see how everyone else noticed how close they are and how both of them had feelings for each other even before they got married. It was kind of sad that they wasted all that time before they finally realized and confessed their love to one ano

I liked how the seme was so determined to make the uke fall in love with him and not see their relationship as just business. It was interesting to see how the uke saw love and how he didn't want to admit that he was actually lonely and how his indifference was just a protective mechanism for him. I also liked how the uke didn't expect to enjoy the copulation as much as he did and how he was initially just teasing and testing the
2nd couple (Ch. 16 - 33)
3rd couple (Ch. 34 - ongoing)
The 2nd couple is so interesting because it's basically a very selfish seme and a uke who at first was in love with the seme but eventually moved on and now just tolerates the seme. This is kind of unique since I never really seen the uke moving on in this way, usually they still have lingering feelings and this uke also has that but he knows better than to act on it and only hangs out with the seme because they were old friends.
Alex (Seme, blond) x Clark (Uke, Black hair)
This is the psychological thriller where the uke is not the usual small uke that needs saving but instead Clark is the one trying to save his friend/ex by manipulating Alex (the killer) into falling in love with him instead. I really like Clark and how cold and calculated he is. The way he acts and thinks is so interesting where his indifference almost makes him seem like a potential serial killer. I also like the Inspector Chief and his shamlessness
