Historical // Showa Era // Poetic // Based on a classic
Based on the classic "Under the Cherry Trees" by Motojirou Kajii (early 1900s). Two full color pages, created by Miyamoto Kano, which emphasize the poetic concept of what lies behind the beauty of cherry blossoms. A japanese saying that I have heard many times indeed and that I encountered in other stories: "Cherry blossoms are so beautiful because there are dead bodies buried underneath the trees"
Very short t
His romance of 500 years: a masterpiece by Yamanaka Hiko. A beautiful story, a rare gem with unique plot
Torao attempted suicide after his lover Hikaru died but, after 250 years of suspended animation, he wakes up and finds an android meant to be his lover's substitute, but he is not really like him. "I'm sorry I don't bear much resemblance - I love you." awww my heart! Such a beautiful love between a human and an android. (complete comment at the page)
BL precious gem - another beautiful story by Yamanaka Hiko.
Tooru and Katsuya touched my heart: such a pure love! Even if it was the worst meeting, I'm glad they found each other: fate was cruel, but they were fated to be together! ( T ^ T )♡

So short but so deep! I really liked it...a valuable oneshot indeed!
-Part of Nakeru BL Anthology-
"Like the flowing water that slips through my fingers, you continue to slip away from me even though you are near me"
Bittersweet - Tragedy along the story.
"From his brutal gang initiation to an unspeakable act committed against his girlfriend, Jaehee wavers uncomfortably between revulsion and fascination"
This manhwa is a masterpiece! I think I'll never find anything better than Let Dai...it's unique! I will always remember this story! ✿✿

"Why did I open the window that night? If I had not, I'd never have been forced to know what it's like to fight, to starve, and to suffer in anguish..."
"I opened the window so I could meet you"
➸ It should be just BL subtext but for me it's much more: I could feel their love, the way Shion and Nezumi interacted, every word they said to each other, everything in their relationship was touching! Their meeting was definitely fate: two people with so di
I love stories based on classics, especially when they are so unique like this one, twisted and at times dark and tragic, but brilliant. Taking classic works and revisite them in a cool, witty way...I don't think that's so easy! Overall, the result was very good! After all, it's a story by Est Em: one immediately perceives sensei's unique and original touch! Each story was remarkable, enriched with interesting details and plot twists! And I think sensei's atypical art style gave the right

"The human drama that unfolds by day is only the tip of the iceberg...at night, there are yet more stories to be told"
I really like historical manga, especially the ones based on classics, so this one was really good for me. With the twist of Scheherazade being actually a boy, it was even better! One of the best BL manhwa!
