Actually interesting. She's a surrogate for his sister and her husband who've recently passed, not only are they grieving, but dealing with the prospect of new parenthood. It was supposed to be a contract, but affection blossoms between them. He's ready, but she's suffering from past pain and must come to terms with it, hurting him in the process. But he's a big boy and sees her issue, and SHE finally gets a clue.

She's the buttoneddown housekeeper for a racing hero who ends up injured. He's happy jumping saddle to saddle, she's got no experience whatsoever. So, during his convalescence, she ends up being maid and nurse, and he finds her interesting so, naturally, he has to fuck her. Love is a no go for him, she accepts the terms, wants him to be happy, then declares herself and leaves. He's miserable, goes looking, and wuvwuv.

This man, taking the family seat at such a young age, was vulnerable to the overbearing nature of elders with elms up their ass, and she ended up taking the brunt of their hatred for being a freer spirit. It wasn't bad until the last few pages, so after the christening, just stop on the congratulations and let it be. She's supposed to be a counselor and she should know trauma can't be cleared away with a baby, a smile and a few tears.

Cute. He's a Prince and she's a lawyer who scratched her way through her education. Despite having no mutilations, it wasn't a bad Cinderella story, as he's a good guy and she can literally kick ass. Queen Mother was a bitch, but I think it stemmed from her own experiences, she didn't want that hardship for her grandson.

A psychological study(?) - He's traumatized over parents' dysfunctional marriage leading to his mother's death, then the woman his father married who squirreled stolen money into a secret bank account. Like mother like daughter in his mind. Her mother is... damaged? over money and stupid(?). The heroine is 'Pollyanna' personified, but dumber?...more naive? Daaammmnn.

Aw, it's sweet. He gets a baby dumped on him just before his father's holiday funeral by a hussy who just wanted to marry rich and powerful. He's dumbstruck. She's a part of the janitorial staff at a fancy hotel, and ends up coerced into helping him for the night. They annoy each other at first, but as that night passes and he's coerced into joining her family for the holidays, so they continue working together, getting to know one another and feelings. It takes a while, but they get there.

Embezzlement, an investigation, kidnapping, pornographic images of firearms and axes... A badass male AND a female that, if she can't kick your ass, she'll think of something, all while logically analyzing the situation with the added bonus she ain't so skinny she doesn't cast a shadow. Sure, it was quick, but good.

Cute, actually. Scylla and Charybdis, that was were he found himself, and though their affection for each other was genuine, he was stuck. It didn't help that the step cousin was being a twat and causing a scene 'cuz her feewins was hurd. During the story, I did get the impression she'd offer apology to the heroine, so SOME atonement... Heroine didn't let him get a word in, but understandable, he admitted he was marrying the twat. Quite the soap opera.

Lovelove ever after through phone sex. She's dating a man who isn't touching her, so she decides to initiate by calling him. Then dials the wrong number and gets a cop, who knowing it was wrong, was hard up enough to let her continue. Through coincidence he bumps into her, allows the error to continue until she discovers she a beard and the cop's in love with her. Idiotically humourous.

She fails to pay attention during a phone call with her aunt(?) and ends up finding herself engaged to a man she doesn't get along with. She wants to come clean, but because the entire company and his circle have been notified, he can't allow himself the humiliation... So they continue, end up married, slowly coming to terms and falling in wuv.
