Isekai BL. Historical Edition. I think most people have read it but if you haven’t the enjoy the meal. The characters and world are so finely well developed that the story has been elevated to national treasure as a result! It doesn’t hurt that the art is pretty too!
The story has quite a few philosophical elements, emotional moments, and deep thoughts, that’s why it shouldn’t be read in one sitting. The characters are fully people, and to grasp the supernatural as well as the mystery aspects properly and fully, you have to take your time. It’s beautifully well thought out.
Some of these stories border on creepy and gross, rather than scary, while others do genuinely cause fear, whether it's a jumps care , or a psychologically creep crawly scare. However, the scariest part of this whole story is the background situation, of our child narrator. It gets a little harder to watch and more dreadful each chapter. If you like jigoku shoujo(hell girl), this is in the similar ballpark, and it's a short read, worth it if you're looking for a change of pace.
I don’t know how to explain without giving anything away… it’s an atmospheric story with quite a bit of charm. More than scary, it’s mesmerizing… the art captures every detail it needs to and then some. A must read.
I have a gist of the plot, but no overarching understanding, and I can't promise that the story is going to be that long. However,I can confidently say this, the impeccable style, art, and characters, alongside the brilliant concept and its actualization, bring together a unique apocalyptic fantasy,with enough world building to have most shounens and stories like it to be shaking in their boots. Hopefully the story will develop and crystalize into a beautiful gem in the long run. Can't wait! <3
A super hardcore(in regards to sex not plot)BL with tons of steamy material. The focal point of the story is on BDSM and play, however its true charm appears in its gut wrenchingly charming humor, and the romance within it brings the story to a even higher level. It’s silly stupid fun, you’ll be grinning ear to ear by the end of it!!!!!<3
The first chapter is so beautifully bittersweet and full of charm. The softness of young love is making my heart flutter, whether it focuses on one couple or expands into multiple, I have high hopes. Can't wait for more! <3
The story brings the same type of fear that Jigoku Shoujo(at least the first two seasons) did, or maybe it would be better to say it’s like Natsume Yujinchou however far more venomous. A strong dark undercurrent, an anxiety welling up, a dread that’s hard to place. A mystical horror with illustrious artwork and a semi episodical narrative. Definitely worth reading…
A slow burn love story that focuses more on the MCs careers, ambitions and goals in the entertainment industry. Moreover it adds threads of nuance, through storylines regarding gossip blogs, fan pressures and expectations, as well as the traversal of the various facets of the industry. It’s beautifully well made and exceptionally sweet, with a charm like no other. The MCs are sweethearts, their sex, raunchy, their love, heart melting
There's so much charm and sweetness to the story even though the premise is at its core tragic and dark. The characters are adorable to boot! Can't wait for more <3

Thank you for this beautiful list. I really appreciate it when the list's author takes it time to describe the stories or their impression a bit.
And even though I have read lots and always struggle to find something new and good (and best: completed) I found some nice ones in your list (Like Koitomo? and Takaromo wa ... something.) Did you know that that last one has a DJ where they switched? It*s also good, maybe better than the original.
And some recommendations for you from my memory that might suit your list and maybe taste:
Itou-san (It's dark, a bit twisted but they are such a sweet couple - I also recommend I: episode 0 which is both prequel and sequel to Itou-san)
And a long yaoi: Ze by Shimizu Yuki (I love all her works, but I have re-read Ze so often and cried and loved every time)
Maybe something catches your fancy? Or not. Whatever it is. I will follow your list and see what it holds for the future.

You are right about Ze. The first time I read it, I barely recognized the main characters of the respective arc. But it's enough to enjoy the story and get deep into it. And if you ever read it again, you will always find something like "Oh, wow that was already hinted here?" and you realize again how well-written the story is.
But to each their own so don't feel forced:)

Oh thats okay haha, i can completely understand how not everyone would like it.
I mean I tried it, but I really couldn’t get past the part where the MC is dropped into the other world. I don’t exactly remember, but I think I liked the Uncle but he’s technically the villain so... thank you for your recommendation, but it’s really not to my taste. I hope I didn’t offend you.
