This is so fucking cute!!!! It's a damn shame that it's so short though TTnTT. But for what it is, it's sweet, packs an emotional punch, lighthearted in nature, with perfect comedic timing. My BL brain unfortunately won't turn off, but that is my one and only woe. A must read. You've got to try it BL lover or not!! It's sooo cute and sooo adorable by the end of it I was grinning ear to ear. Even if the summary doesn't interest you, if you liked anything in this
Each story makes me tear up by the end, some out of frustration, some joy, other hope, and quite a few out of loss. Every individual story has heart, the fact that these were real stories, that these were real people make each word more meaningful. There's a lot you can learn from reading this. For me first and foremost, was forgiveness, second kindness, then to try, to never quit, that there's always hope, and to always live. What will you learn, I wonder?
The underlying narrative is the discussion of how omegas and alphas fit into society. The different structures that uphold certain values, what they mean from an individual and group perspective, etc. An interesting philosophical discussion, with multiple components, and like real philosophy and anthropology, no clear answers, just observations. I also find it refreshing to have a MC who just doesn’t give a shit and is fun even though he may be condescending. A new direction<3
It’s a spin-off of gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun. It’s just as good, just as charming, sweet, and poignantly funny! This author’s stories are always a blast!!
It’s fucked up to hell and back, but, but , buuutttt it’s so fucking hot !!! It gets me riled up and then some, not to mention when they actually delve into the drama it’s juicy as hell! It’s a wild ride meant for a select few, though if you’re kind of into it, you’ll definitely be immersed in no time!!!!😈
I’d like it if this story developed into something that describes the loss of a missed opportunity. How when you made that choice, you weren’t aware, but nevertheless that choice proliferated to a point where there’s no turning back. Now as an adult you move forward with those lessons and those thoughts. You move on. It seems to be going in this direction, and that’s exciting, it’s a rare theme explored in BL, and with this level of execution it’s definitely worth watching!
It starts as a slow burn, the slowest of slow burns, but it gradually picks up the pace. Before you might've looked back, once in a blue moon maybe, but without you even knowing, the tension builds, your pupils dilate, your heart quickens. You're enraptured, your movement ceases, not even a twitch passes by. By the end you can't speak...you can only think, ... what the hell did I just read?!
It’s a charming story with a genuine shounen zeal, heaped with fluid action and the perfect pangs of humor. It’s a slow grower, but it’s a valuable treasure right under your nose. An endearing and enjoyable read, overtime I hope it delves more into character story and growth. But like I said, slow grower, though the buds are definitely there. I can’t wait to see it blossom!!!!
Came out of nowhere, it started slow but then quickly ramps up to high gear! A treat to read, I’m not much of a soccer/football fan myself but this revs my engine up. A good sports manga is a raw diamond awaiting. I’m excited!
We’re on the sequel train, people! Hopefully just as funny and charming as the original! I’m running on a high right now! But this time make it even more BL please!!

(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ It's a good list . I am going to follow it
This is a wonderful list! I'm still working through it but I've been introduced to so many beautiful pieces that I'd probably missed otherwise.
Not sure if you've already read some of these but here are some recommendations!

Uwaaah that makes me so happy!! It always feels great when you find a new story, doesn’t it?! I haven’t yet read any of the stories you recommended yet, but they’re all stories I’ve never read and they aaaalllll look nice and the summary seems enjoyable!!! Sooo thank you so much!! I was in a bit of a rut trying to find something new , so again thank you !!
And if it isn’t clear, you’re not overstepping any boundaries <3<3
Thank you for this beautiful list. I really appreciate it when the list's author takes it time to describe the stories or their impression a bit.
And even though I have read lots and always struggle to find something new and good (and best: completed) I found some nice ones in your list (Like Koitomo? and Takaromo wa ... something.) Did you know that that last one has a DJ where they switched? It*s also good, maybe better than the original.
And some recommendations for you from my memory that might suit your list and maybe taste:
Itou-san (It's dark, a bit twisted but they are such a sweet couple - I also recommend I: episode 0 which is both prequel and sequel to Itou-san)
And a long yaoi: Ze by Shimizu Yuki (I love all her works, but I have re-read Ze so often and cried and loved every time)
Maybe something catches your fancy? Or not. Whatever it is. I will follow your list and see what it holds for the future.
Now enough of me and a nice weekend to you!
Thank you so much for the compliment !! I vaguely remember Ze but it seemed too have so many characters that were also hard to distinguish from each other, that it scared me, although I’ll definitely try to revisit it... and I’ll take a look at Itou-San as well!!! Thank you for the recs and have a nice weekend as well
You are right about Ze. The first time I read it, I barely recognized the main characters of the respective arc. But it's enough to enjoy the story and get deep into it. And if you ever read it again, you will always find something like "Oh, wow that was already hinted here?" and you realize again how well-written the story is.
But to each their own so don't feel forced:)
And besides that: Please keep up the good work:)
also, I really recommend "King's maker" because the art is gorgeous and the story epic!
I’ll definitely take a look. Thanks for the rec!
I was about to recommend this one, too haha!
I love this list so much!! I've read many of these and I can guarantee the quality of this list. Kudos
Thank you very much!! It makes me super happy to hear that!
I feel like I’ve hurt your feelings, if I did I’m sorry... also I probably sound insincere, but I am wholeheartedly happy that you recommended something to me b/c I rarely talk to people or have people talk to me... so it this probably sounds incoherent but thank you very much!
Oh thats okay haha, i can completely understand how not everyone would like it.
I mean I tried it, but I really couldn’t get past the part where the MC is dropped into the other world. I don’t exactly remember, but I think I liked the Uncle but he’s technically the villain so... thank you for your recommendation, but it’s really not to my taste. I hope I didn’t offend you.
Have you read Dalsez? If not, I really recommend it.
