It's not bad, as king, he's taking things slowly. She's dedicated, strong-willed and not easily manipulated, even as she gives into her desires. They are at odds with each other because she wants the happily-ever-after-rainbows-and-roses and he's got a whole country of people to think about before he can just be a man in love. Then there's an incident which pulls her into the spotlight, which shows the people to be in her favor and then she agrees to marry him.

I liked it, until she went all pussyfest self-righteous on the man for doing the right thing. Sure, she got a taste of the violence of an insecure man against a weaker opponent, so let someone his own size pick on him without being lectured and hated for it. The hero started on the wrong foot, but proved to be a good man a couple of pages later.

He's badly scarred from committing a selfless act, his wife was disgusted and left without telling him she was pregnant. Then the ex died and suddenly he had to take in and be a father to his child, but worried she would reject him as well. The nanny called in to smooth the way once made her living as a beauty queen, but now she has to pull the man into the world of the living for the sake of his daughter. He's mopey, angry bitchy, she's falsely perky, sulky. Both are pushy. It's wuv.

He's a love ignorant, dynastic crown prince, so he must always think of the future of the dynasty and the country, which does leave him in the role of asshole when he breaks up with his lover. But, despite medical appraisal, she winds up preggers, so he goes back and sort of arrogantly begs for her. She tries to be stalwart, but caves in time... It's okay, not pretty, but okay for the type.

It's not bad, but feel a bit sorry for the hero. This man bares his heart to the woman he's with, so she dumps him and disappears, now she's back to declare her mistake, but he can't remember. After she dumped him, he was hit by a car, his life's work was stolen and he fought to regain his independence. No matter how 'girl-power', guilty or working to make amends and help him play detective, she's still a cow for her part. But, she is remorseful, so she's the rest of her life to atone.

Not bad, he's a famous photographer and she's a scholar seeking to define her flaws. She wins him in a charity auction because she want's his 'professional' opinion. They like each other, have a fling, confide some details about themselves, but she omits an important detail that bites her ass. A woman who needs to be institutionalized, makes the truth public. Fit hits the shan, they part, he learns the truth, he pleads, and she fights to take out trash.

This was different. She's going to surprise her fiance' with a pre-wedding fuck night and ends up quarantined with the best man. Since they were infected together, they have to stay together. As they dwell in the same room, things go hot and cold between them until they at last make the beast with two backs. She calls of her wedding, which is the smartest thing she's done. The lovers part, then he comes back for her. It's cute-ish.

This isn't bad, sad in places, but good nonetheless. Her deceased husband was an asshole, in her grief and guilt, she takes out her anger on the man she must now seek for aid. The only way to help her and her daughter is for the two on them to get married. He's deeply in love with her, she's working through her attraction to him, but she's got A LOT on her mind, the least of which is the abuse her precious spouse subjected her to.

Kinda torn on this, but if they'd been open and honest with each other to start, there wouldn'ta been a story, would there? Don't get the impression he and the cousin copulated, since if her mouth was moving, she was lying, but he didn't clear that up. In a patriarchal household, women have to be much more cunning when making a move, and this girl can't, she's too soft. So it's all up to the man she married to put grandpa in his place. It's alright.
