The FL has a really boisterous, fun personality! Genuinely enjoyable.
**I recommend reading this series on Mangadex.org—The scans uploaded to mangago recently have been a hot mess**
Adorable & funny! About the slow progress between a Patissier and his customer who are mutually crushing on each other.
This might be my favorite on this list! The art is Beautiful and the main couple are SO cute together. I only wish it were longer :'0
**heroine's weight is NOT a key part of the storyline <3**
The Kofun Interest Club becomes Hono-chan's refuge after her best friend has a glow up--and a personality change--during their first year of college.
I like the heroine, she's not a total wilting flower & i like the way she appreciates moments and things.... It also depicts the feeling of a small college club really well, and I like the male characters <3
***As per usual, the translations on Mangadex.org are much better than the ones posted here... 9_9 ***
Good points:
1. The dense but truly kind ML slowly realizing that he likes the FL
2. This manga never feels depressing. Like, yeah, the FL has low self-esteem, but it's mostly just used in gags where she misinterprets other people.
3. The ML & FL start dating around Ch. 30! Which is really quick for a manga like this.
4.5/5
A super tough FL—the series starts off like a slice of life, but then starts introducing a lot of intrigue?! I'm excited to see where this goes!
There are some gags about how much the FL eats and some outdated beliefs regarding weight loss, but it's not the central focus of the manga. I really relate to this character and am willing to cut this series some slack
The good: FL has an interesting personality and her love interest is a genuinely sweet guy. They have good chemistry & cute moments. I've really been enjoying the recent chapters!!!
The bad: FL's weight is a constant focus of the series—FL is insecure about her appearance and tries fad diets as part of (unsuccessful) attempts to lose weight. 2 be fair, her character arc is basically her overcoming her insecurities
It's one of those Harlequin novels. It's a little predictable, but although the FL is real insecure, she does seem to be genuinely competent and dependable—and to me, likeable.
Kasuga is a big, strong woman who eats a lot, and this lays the foundation for romance with her neighbor.
A lot of people really like this manga, but it's not one of my favorites...I'm not sure why, but the way they eat kind of grosses me out. ._.'''
a shoujo ai/josei oneshot featuring TWO female leads that stay fat
