Yutaka loves his big brother. He hasn't seen Minoru for the last six years but they never fail to exchange letters. But this is the last letter since Minoru is moving back. The two realize that they still share a bond that goes beyond being brothers. I love Tagura Tohru, I loved this piece. The art is gorgeous, the storyline is subtle, the characters are beautifully written. Love love love.
Oshirou has been in love with his childhood friend for years, a one sided love which is even more painful now that the clueless object of his affection has moved to the city. Oshirou meets Inamura, an extraverted older man who offers to start a rebound relationship. A bittersweet love triangle, realistic and quite moving. The plot is quite original too and I liked the sharp yet subtle artwork.
Highschooler Sumito walks on a man, crying under the cherry blossoms. This man is Someya, his sensei. Attraction slowly developps between the two of them. Sumito quickly realizes he is actually in love and confesses but, despite his shared attraction, Someya tries to put an end to the relationship, convinced by his past experiences that Sumito has to leave a regular life and will come to change his mind eventually. Smooth, moving, beautiful, mellow drama at its best. Last story is heartbreaking.
Takahiro and Kouto have been together since highschool, they share a blisful love. That is until Takahiro gets caught in an accident which causes him to lose his memories of the last two years. He believes Kouto to be a mere roomate and doesn't want to be reminded about any previous relationship since he want to fall in love on his own accord and not because of a commitment he doesn't remember. Kotou is such a strong and loveable character, he loves Takahiro so much. Moving, cute and s
Misaki is like a rare flower, fragile, delicate and mysterious. Aikawa meets hims without seeing his face but still, can't forget about Misaki, dreams about him and their path keep on crossing each other. Behind his cold and aloof behavior, Misaka is lonely and haunted by his past: the lost of his family and a poisonous first love. Slow paced, delicately crafted scenario, amazing art. I like how those two take their time to let love grow, how they fully respect and care for one another.
Cuteness overload, the heart-warming happy ending.
Hideo is a cram school tutor. His friend Sera introduces him to his new lover: Tomohisa. Tomohisa is one of Hideo's student, usually cold and aloof, he reveals a cute and vulnerable side of his personality when Sera is around. No matter how cute, Sera still has troubles with the idea of dating a boy and tries to put some distance. The pitiful Tomohisa reaches Hideo for help and gains a new admirer in the process. Half fluffy and half heartbreaking, a light read with tears in hidden corners.
Hideo and Tomohisa are now living together, they lead a simple and happy day to day life until Hideo's family's presure over mariage stirs up a lot of unresolved issues. A painful but unavoidable series of dramatic events unravels.
I got so heartbroken over this one, it made me cry but it was a beautiful ride. Probably one of my most iconic BL couple so far.
This is a story about four couples and how their lives present and past are intertwined with each other. Sometimes it is warm and light, sometimes it just rips your heart out. The flow of the story is pretty amazing and beautiful. Gorgeous art, Kizu Natsuki is just so so so talented.
