this got adapted into a movie, “love and leashes”! i think it’s really good depiction of bdsm and power exchange from a single, non-sexual (in the story) angle. there’s also community stuff going on which is neat. they touch on a lot of stuff kinksters worry about, like being outed, suppressing their desires, “fake” doms and subs (toxic/incompatible people i guess), even the total newbie pov.

i mean, plot aside (its a good plot dw), the way they’re going about the whole power exchange thing i find quite enjoyable! as far as the sexual stuff goes, i think the giant penis is really highlighting how penis-centric a lot of these things are… anywho. it’s still in progress, so time will tell.

not sure this should even be here, honestly. pretty switchy couple, but she leads most of the time. its more about their relationship overall than anything kinky in specific. feels like the author decided to change the focus from their sex lives to their overall love life. communication is great btw them, which is a plus

upon reread i gotta say, wanting to see someone you care about in such a state is (one reason) why i like bdsm lol, so i relate a lot to that. there’s not much in the vein of power exchange, and whether or not it’s kinky depends on who you ask, but i had fun ^^

i think this manga does a good job of showing both sexual and non-sexual kink actually. also some power exchange elements are present. most of the kink is sexual but when the non-sexual moments happen you’ll (hopefully) see what i was getting at.

plot wise its lacking. but i enjoy that their propensities are just There, theres no shame around them (except the dad that one time). somnophilia is a rare one but a personal fav. only sexual, zero carryover out of the bedroom. not even sure i want it here but im gonna leave it in.

i can’t remember much of the story or the kink, but i do remember there’s some sort of weird dynamic flip going on? its power exchange seemingly built on guilt? and there’s a lot of S&M. can’t get too into it but the plot is very good at least.
