If I'm remembering right, this was sexual assault on one side and verbal assault on the other and I couldn't really like this at all, so tell me why I'm crying big girl tears over these two hurting and hurting each other and both crying. ML may be the initial molester but he really was down w/ all the pain MC threw at him and stuck around. I would've already died if someone I liked was telling me these things. This was so cute. I liked that the author spoke about wanting to touch on the bad parts of men, and I think that may imply toxic masculinity among other things. The thought of succeeding being synonymous w/ promotions/power, that men generally can't like to bake or eat sweets, that entertainment is equivalent to a 'Breast Bar'(??? I swear, JP has the most innovative sex industry I've ever heard about) etc. He can't go to a Breast Bar cause his lover is a man? So if it was a woman, it'd be fine??

One of the most annoying, braindead series ever. Why doesn't MC say she's been abused, starved, called halfling, never been educated and that she knows she's unloved/unwanted/unnamed so she'll stay out of everyone's way and negotiate w/ them to give her safety in exchange for never seeing her again? That'd be logical. Instead, they keep telling MC to go back cause they're ignorant, idiotic and guilty of child neglect, MC gets sad, says NOTHING, then solves their probs and then REPEAT. DNF?

DEPRESSING AND HORRIFYING. I've read horror stories that were less scary to me. Wth. My stomach is unsettled and I'm in tears. I've never felt so thoroughly gutted.
