The private school setting is like a different world, with super rich students and a lot of catty drama. On the surface, all conflicts seem superficial/trivial. However, the characters are going through some real issues and unresolved conflicts that don't get revealed until later, since everyone else is somewhat oblivious to it. It ends in inevitable tragedy and bittersweetly.
I cried the first time I read this because it's too real. Although the author puts fantastical and surreal elements in the art, which i absolutely love, the situations the characters go through are very real and honestly broke my heart.

This is a classic. The FL, with dreams of becoming a prince, attends a private school whose attendees are stuck in time and have lost grip on reality. It's there where she meets her princess who needs saving. I'd honestly recommend everyone to watch the anime, because it transcends the manga.
