Outstanding Pieces of Work

My favorite, favorite, favorite has a lasting impression on me. These characters are so broken, yet darkly beautiful. Reading requirements : BIG box of tissues, eye bleach, brain bleach and a new heart, because mine is irreparably shattered into miniscule pieces.

Beautiful, beautiful love story. Uncompromising and difficult, but worth it. It has taken me forever to get this one out of my psyche. BIG box of tissues and a new soul required.

Brilliant storyline, great characters that I found relatable and quite honestly, one of the most fascinating and meaningful pieces of writing I have read in quite awhile. Stunning doesn't begin to describe the awesome work that is this manga. And, it's incomplete, which makes it a stunning open ended mystery. I love mysteries and can usually figure out what is really going on in the mystery, but this is so brilliant that I read it three times before I was completely satisfied that I understood everything within. This one makes me envious as hell that I didn't write it. Lovely piece of darkness. Not suitable for those with abuse or rape issues.

One of my absolute favorites. Nakamura Shungiku-Sensei's very best work. Bring a BIG box of tissues. A hybrid child is a child that is not human, not quite doll. Their sole purpose is companionship. Three stories: A young man learns responsibility. A hybrid child learns that growth doesn't always come with happiness. Kuroda, the creator of the hybrid child, and Tsukishima, his inspiration.
