This is a doujin, and a pairing I did not expect. Maybe its because I'm not familiar with Slam Dunk. I did watched Slam Dunk, but that was long time ago, I barely remember if there's any conversation between these 2. rather than the typical Hanamichi x Rukawa pairing, this is really very unexpected and beautiful pair. The slow burn is just my thing, and also any plot from acquaintance to something is always interesting to me.
The story is really good. Only that last 50 chapters or something, the translation becoming a bit gibberish that it somewhat took out a little bit of my enjoyment when reading it. But overall its really good.
Best BL in my book. The way they approach the topic is very mature, yet not quite. It gives of the 'first time' feeling for both of the characters. The 'drama/angst' is not unpleasant. They're not shouting, say horrible things to each other despite 'fighting' eith each other. Everything they do is consented with on another, it feels very mutual with the way they showered their loved. There is no one-sided feeling where you see most of the time in BL.
This manga art style might not be everyone cup of tea. But honestly, you'll get used to it. Whats interesting about this manga is the fact that its very informative, in the relation of the gaming industry. the mangaka him/her self have experience first-hand what its like to work in the industry.
This is actually still ongoing, its not yet complete.
