I’ve read everything about this manhwa and this is one of, if not, the best murim story I’ve read. The world-building, the story, the characters, and everything about this is a masterpiece. In the manhwa, it’s still far from the main point of the story, but in the future chapters, tape-up your jaw, because it’ll drop ever so often. I couldn’t recommend this enough for you guys to check this out.
—Murim —Action —Genius MC —Adventure
Definitely ONE of the best game-genre isekai I’ve read. The suspense you get is noteworthy and is rarely found in the isekai-manhwa sphere. You can feel all the lead characters’ struggle to survive and it’s reflected up until the end of the story. This doesn’t have OP powers like others but have a very unique MC which is the main reason I put this in the top 5. Give it a shot, it will definitely keep you from sleeping.
The first murim manhwa that convinced me that this genre is fire as hell. I was reading this simply because I had nothing to read at first, but as I go through it, it is fuckin awesome and the dopamine I gained as I read this is better than most of the european medieval shit I’ve read. Then my standard when it comes to murim/wuxia rose. DEFINITELY A MUST READ MANHWA.
—Reincarnation—Murim—Comedy—Weak to Strong
The comedic timing, the adventures, and especially the faces that MC is making is TOP TIER. This manhwa is definitely one of the funniest, if not, THE funniest manhwa I’ve read so far. If you wanna have some laughs, I highly recommend this.
—Isekai (Novel) —Comedy —Weak to Strong —Medieval
I love it. This is like Re:Zero, but the MC knows how to learn and grow as a swordsman. I highly suggest this, you’ll have fun reading this.
—Regression —Medieval —Action
Here lies the manhwa that executed what a smart regressor would do if he were to regress time. The narrative, the beginning transition of regression, the choreography of sword fights, the story is beautiful and feels natural. The novel couldn’t exactly capture the beauty of sword fights of this manhwa but I still recommend reading it, there are parts in the novel omitted in the manhwa and they omitted a lot. I highly recommend this to readers who love intricate actions and world-building.
I can say that the way the story started is unique, since I haven’t seen anything like that especially in a murim-genre manhwa. The story progression is worth the time for bulk-reading. So long as you have an open mind, this is worth reading overnight.
—Murim —Weak to Strong —Adventure
This manhwa gave me a unique taste of Murim where our MC tackle problems maturely—using strategies that doesn't need killing as much as possible, however, when the situation needs to be settled through killing someone, our MC WILL kill them: he's ruthless and scary when it happens. The manhwa is funny, there's a diverse amount of side characters and the whole story so far has been reeeallly good. Also MC is OP af.
—Murim —Adventure —Comedy
The characters, even the side-characters, are well-fleshed out. The artstyle is good since every character has different facial structures. The world-building is high quality and I think it’s better to read the novel since there are a lot of omitted details in the manhwa. There are women for MC but they’re not annoying as I thought they would be. Highly recommend.
Whoever’s cooking this shit, they definitely know what they’re doing. The artstyle, the narrative, the action, they know how to pluck an action-lover’s heart. Know that the MC is as described as the title of the story and he has the inherent skills to back it up. To understand MC’s thought process, also read the novel (it’s fine if you don’t, the manhwa is amazing as is). I highly recommend it to instant dopamine-seekers.
