This material made me giggle more than my partner. A lot of shit happens and the world building is chef’s kiss good. A lot of second hand embarrassment and funny moments happen. Don’t let the title fool you, I haven’t slept for days when I read this novel. First of all, the plot for every arc is legitimately well-written. I got chills reading author’s way of writing the main and supporting characters thoughts and perspectives—it is so easy to read and enjoy it. The romance is slow burn but is a very well-thought out pacing. Genres so far –Romance –Action –Mystery -Comedy -Regression –a tiny bit of Horror –Drama.
Healthy characters, amazing world building, wonderfully written arcs, immersive gore descriptions, what more should I ask for? This is probably one of the hidden holy grails of the shounen-genre novels. If you like self-discovery, camaraderie, and gore, you WILL love this. Highly recommended.
