already read on mangaplanet
I also read the sequel but I remember nothing :D
could have been a good smutty/erotic BL
like the manwhaka lost interest in it quickly, so no good smut and no plot and basically nothing besides the inetersting basic idea of pet humans and gods
ch 9 has some peak action moments -- If only it was a bit longer and focusing more on action/world building.
I didn't read the uncensored version. Opinion after finishing: rushed ending, conflict bw seme and uke too easily solved; could have been longer, could have had more world-building --> end result: it's a forgettable story and I dunno why the uke should stay with the seme; but good art
I liked it, but I swear, I can't remember basically anything from this manga.
MAYBE A REREAD?
From the comment section bc I wholeheartedly agree with them: "I know a story needs to have a little mystery, but this is too much, I honestly don't know what is happening, except for the lead characters I don't know who is who, and i don't know what is what and when is when." Tbh, I should totally re-read this to fully grasp the story and plot. Also, I don't wanna be harsh, but Bongchon Bride does this kinda story better - the characters are more loveable/defined, the plot is easier to follow.
some pages are missing from ch 3, the quality of the upload could be better
It's the beginning of a poly relationship. Nothing special, but not that bad or meh. It has a sequel but it's not fully translated yet, so I don't have much opinion about this. No rape, the art is okay, it has potential.
Edit: I won't waste my time with the sequel, after 5 yrs, their relationship should't be like that... Read the tl.'s note in the last ch there.
MAYBE READING THE OFFICIALS - It had GREAT potential but the plot's executed badly. Bad pacing, the plot's constantly being built on miscommunication bw the MCs, the seme isn't stupid but actually naive/innocent/inexperienced (the uke says about him that he's stupid & slow), it's easy to misinterpret the uke's behavior & acts; AND actually the uke forces himself on the seme. The concept was powerful/charismatic/experienced uke but this could've been written better. The art's good.
The only two good things about this BL: 1) the erotic uke 2) the story isn't unnecessarily long. It's a forgettable story with badly plotted action & romance. The reason the uke gets together with the seme is that they were childhood friends and the uke was burdened with guilt.
A very toxic historical romance BL with a sweet & happy ending. Positive: believable depiction of how in the past people behaved, were treated & mistreated based on their social status + how this might influence their approach to love, relationships, romance, sex. BUT: outstretched soap-opera type of toxic melodrama; + simping uke; + plotholes (wtf happened to the princess). As a toxic melodrama BL which presents annoying smut & über-masculine flexing as a sign of genuine love, it was okayish.
