Yuri/ Shoujo-ai

“What do we do if we fall out in the future?”
“I will just seek you out and we will fall in love again.”
Those words got me almost crying :’) It’s hard for us to believe in everlasting love and if we keep thinking about its sad possibilities, we never have the courage to love and put faith in a serious relationship. I love how it all works out for our 2 MCs and wish we all find our loved ones like that some day too, someone we want to share our life with.

This is my second read and I still feel butterflies by how sweet Violet and June interact with each other. It’s a short series but to witness the process of them naturally coming to terms with their true feelings is truly satisfying. I’m honestly not usually a fan of “pure” characters but I can make exception for June hehe; and Violet is so subtly seductive that I simp for lol. I would love to see if the author decides to draw spin-off of their life together!

I feel healed reading this story. I love how I can feel the initial conflicts in the woman - she has always lived void of a wish of being together with someone she likes for life, she feels lost in what she wants vs what society expects. Yet, she cannot resist the attraction of to the younger woman who finds her in her most confused state..

It's a truly beautiful oneshot that makes us believe in true love. I totally recommend it!

On a side note, this manga is probably the first of its kind that made me genuinely interested in the brothel industry. I like how Asumi graduates from shyly approaching her sexuality, to now a full-on weekly regular lol (I totally understand cuz the girls are so irresistible in their own unique way;)
