sadly it will always remain unfinished, since the author passed away before concluding the story. but even so, what a masterfully constructed story. the main leads are so spectacular, and the way their relationship slowly builds up is so nice to see. kept me up at night when i first read it, and it keeps me awake everytime i come back to it. r.i.p. Ssamba.

prepare to feel 400 different emotions at the same time. i swear this manga is a rollercoaster, but one with a beautiful conclusion. it's beautiful overall

raw as fuck. i had to step away cuz of how real some of these things felt. i think i never related this much to a protagonist before in my life. i feel seen, disgusted, emotional. masterpiece... not for everybody though.

there's nothing better than a story about kindred spirits, about the love and care that can take someone out of their darkest moments. i think that this manga delivers. it's also written very beautifully. a lot of small moments made me emotional purely because of how they were written. the fact that rio's counselors were in her life and truly care about her was also a nice touch. and their commentary helped put in perspective the impact of how her life changed for the better.

you will NOT regret reading this. a beautiful and introspective queer story, calming and relaxing while still being interesting and complex. i love it!! so much.

shoujo manga peakness here. a tale about a soon to be married woman trying to forget her first love and then meeting her again. HEAVYY feminist themes in this work. it even talks about comphet (and it was made in the 80s?? helloo??), misogyny, girlhood to womanhood, love.... it's so peak man idk go read this
