actual good yaoi

This might be peak yaoi (in my opinion at least). The art is spectacular. It takes inspiration from traditional japanese art and erotic art aswell. Which serves to set the scene, in the edo era of Japan. I LOVE period manga SO MUCH!! especially when it focuses on having a fun story while being reasonably historically accurate. The characters are interesting and their dynamic is adorable, and most of all very touching. This manga made me cry not ONCE but TWICE in two separate chapters. peak.

One of my favorite mangas of all time. coupled with an unique artstyle, beautiful dance sequences, and an intense and dramatic chemistry between it's main characters. holy freaking shit what else could you ask for?!?! also, i am a diehard rivals to lovers fan (sorry, i know it's clichè).

Im simple. you make me laugh, i fuck with you. so yeah, i fuck with 50X50 so insanely hard. sometimes you just need two bisexual dumbfuck losers being too fucking stupid to realize they are in love with each other. heartwarming! the two most misogynistic men you know fucked each other multiple times. hurray!!

just a bittersweet story about being queer, finding community and love. the ending always make me bawl.... also i love when manga has trans representation even though this one is depressing, it still respects the character and who she is.

Beautiful and stunning art. This manga is quite heavy with it's topics, but i do feel like it tries to handle them with care. The characters are deep, flawed and raw, it's such a fascinating story. It's a masterpiece. Rest in peace Peyo

I LOVE GIMMICK MANGA!!! AND THIS ONE IS ABOUT VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT IT FUCKS HARD! honestly it's an insane ride from beginning to end and i have reread this multiple times, it's funny, charming, wholesome and even a little angsty sometimes. Overall good vibes and an awesome read!! (also im pretty sure this manga was written by a man, which is cool since it's pretty rare with yaoi!)

you want something cute? something wholesome and funny? well kieta hatsukoi got you!!! sometimes you just need a funny and interesting premise and some fun characters to write a good story. It helps a lot that this manga has a very full story, not too many or too few chapters, just enough to engage us and develop the romance & cast. sometimes a simple story can be a peak story if you know what ur doing!!

super endearing and cute! it actually surprised me how much i liked it. i think it's because it's also partly about self acceptance and seeking out community. a guy moves into his new apartment and meets his neighbors who just happen to be gay! hijinks insue

character arcs, interesting premise, fun cast of characters and decent worldbuilding? damn!! this manhwa has it all! and it does it really really well. yeah, it's a slowburn, but it doesn't drag. the conflicts aren't prolonged to milk content but they aren't shallow either. everything is almost perfectly paced, and it all makes sense. the humour and the heart are also very nice! the art is a bit iffy at times but the newer artstyle from the extra really weirded me out lol
