this story is beautiful and so human. arima's relationship with his gender, although unfamiliar to me, i felt myself understanding his struggles. the uncertainty of being a boy or girl whilst everyone outside of you is pressuring you to decide is definitely something i have experienced. the two main characters learning about each other and in return, themselves, was extremely heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

UGH the song already hit me so extremely hard, so getting to see a full story based on it just hits me right in my transmasc feels. not only does the manga tackle homophobia, but also transphobia. it's such an important story that shows both the pain and joy of being queer.
