my favorite work from shishou (gusari) like ever. it's just ex to lovers is an amazing trope and will continue to be. they're so in love, and awkward, and stupid, it's perfect.

anyways... i adore these characters so much, especially aoki. i feel like i relate to him so much. he's a crazy overthinker, clumsy, and overall, just a silly guy. he and the rest of the characters are all great and SO human. this manga had me laughing, kicking my feet, and crying, and i loved every second of it. it breaks my heart to not be able to read more of their story, but i'm glad they all got happy endings <3

even after so long, i cannot get this series out of my head. i love that moment when cocky himbo characters realize they're in love. literally never gets old, and the art is stunning.

i know that they're relationship was and is toxic as fuck, but i also want to see them both finally be happy. and jaehyuk not realizing he's in love with garam is both frustrating and fun to watch. can't get this shit outta my mind either.

i adore this beautiful artstyle so much. and this enemies to lovers just hits so good. i love how you get to see how much they genuinely love each other as they progress.

THE PINING. and how willing sasaki is to learn more about miyano just makes me melt, he loves miyano so much. and miyano is just THAT guy, he's so self aware and also not self aware enough at the same time. they both deserve all the happiness.

this literally caused me to have a gender dysphoria breakdown, but it was worth it. the two leads are literally both so cute. being able to watch them grow up and this manga taking place throughout the years is such change of pace. and i love the slow burn and them slowly realizing that they're the best match for each other; it's so good. i'm so glad they got a good ending :')

THEY ARE BOTH SO SILLY. MATCH MY FREAK? HOW ABOUT MATCH MY SILLY? i adore them. i also like how the mangaka goes into the reality of being a gay couple in japan; sometimes in this manga, it hurt to see that they couldn't do something just because they were in a relationship, buttttt i am glad they're still happy together
+ the side couple are also super cute!

this art is fucking gorgeous. and the two leads are also gorgeous. they always seem to have rough patches, but they consistently find healthy ways solve their problems. the communication is healthy, sex is great, and both of them are pretty as fuck, they are winning in life.

also please let yikyung bottom, like just once... i need it.

i love this so much. i already connect with and adore villain as a song, and this manga just makes my love for it grow tenfold. renri's struggle with not wanting to be seen as a woman fucking hits in the guts for me, as a genderqueer/transmasc(?) person. i really want to keep seeing where this goes.
