This is a TRAGEDY. The ML is super terrible to MC (rape, drugs, confinement). But it’s NOT supposed to be romantic, he realises the shit he did was horrible & unforgivable later. He doesn’t go unpunished, he dies trying to protect MC from another gang (they both die I think). The second part of the book starts when they both reincarnate (sort of) into 2 different ppl in modern time. MC is now well-off & healthy. ML spends the rest of the book feeling sorry & regretful. MC eventually forgives him

seems to be cute, the time period is interesting, the art is good
but: I'm not fond of the idea that the seme fucks his father figure. Also, there are many less controversial AND much better KBLs out there. If it were brainless smut, I'd not care but it seems the creator takes this story seriously -- the story seems to be melodramatic at some points.
I won't waste my time with this.

It's just a mediocre historical soap-opera toxic BL, where the ML/prince is a sociopath and regards the MC as a pet. E.g., They had sex and seme becomes even more obsessed with uke and locks him up in the gold palace of north where he raped him many times. -- and stuff like that -- waste of time
